Today I’ve got a little bitty post about our little bitty mud closet. Our kitchen had two small pantries, so we decided to make one into a mudroom. Except that it is too small to be called a room, really, so it’s our mud closet. It is surprisingly functional though, thus, proving that if you add some shelving and hooks, even the smallest spaces can improve your home.

The wallpaper is my absolute favorite, and it goes really well with the super dark blue paint and wood shelf. I love how big the pattern is, and even though you don’t see much of it in this tiny little space, it’s still pretty impactful. The wallpaper is from Drew Barrymore’s collection at Walmart, but, unfortunately, it appears to be unavailable now. However, I did find this one on Etsy that is very close if you like this pattern.
And, there you are, a little inspiration to transform an unused closet into your functional little mud closet! We use ours every day, and it’s brought a bit of order to the chaos, yay!
